Third-Party Adversarial Proof

Third-Party Adversarial Proof is adversarial test evidence produced or witnessed by a party that is independent of both the vendor whose system is tested and the buyer relying on the result. It removes the conflict of interest in vendor-run and buyer-run testing.

What it means

A vendor testing its own product has a stake in the result. A buyer testing a product it already chose has a stake too. Third-Party Adversarial Proof places the witness, the record and the verdict with a party that has neither stake.

What makes the third party independent

The test is Structural Independence: no outcome-contingent payment, no operational control handed over, no reporting line to the party measured, and no way for the measured party to change the environment during capture.
