Reproved Efficacy
Reproved Efficacy is Proof of Efficacy that has been independently re-run and reached the same outcome. A second party repeats the committed test against the same system under the same conditions and confirms the original result, so the claim no longer rests on a single run or a single prover.
What it means
A single proof shows one run produced one outcome. Reproved Efficacy shows the outcome holds when someone else runs it.
What a reproof requires
- The same commitment. The reprover uses the test that was committed before the original run, not a new one chosen after seeing the result.
- The same conditions. The same system version and configuration, in a customer-like environment.
- An independent reprover. A party with no stake in the original result.
- A recorded match or mismatch. A failed reproof is itself evidence and is kept, not discarded.
Strength
Reproof strength grows with the number of independent reprovers that reach the same outcome. One original run plus independent confirmations is stronger than any number of repeat runs by the original prover.
Proof says it worked once. Reproof says it works.
