Conformance Level
A Conformance Level is one of three words, Executed, Conformant or Registered, that anyone describing a Proof Protocol run must use, with these meanings and no others, to say how far the run got from execution to the individual registration of every record.
The three levels
| Level | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Executed | The run followed the method. Nothing is registered. No Units of Proof exist. |
| Conformant | Executed, every record meets the record rules, and the result is registered with a verifiable Registry Receipt. Units of Proof exist. |
| Registered | Conformant, and every Unit of Proof, finding, fingerprint, Interface Manifest and Bundle is individually registered with its own receipt, in a Registry the governing engagement specification accepts. |
The rules
- “Compliant”, “aligned” and similar words are not Conformance Levels.
- Rates from Executed runs are not Units of Proof and are labeled unregistered.
- A component’s conformance at an Integration Point is a different thing. A conforming component can take part in a run that is merely Executed.
