Acceptance Profile

An Acceptance Profile is a registered, versioned record in which a Consumer, such as an insurer, regulator or buyer, states the conditions a Performance Record or Series must satisfy to be accepted for a named purpose. It constrains the record, never the control, and is evaluated deterministically to produce an Acceptance Result.

The terms

Term Meaning
Consumer A party that relies on Performance Records for a decision and publishes a profile saying what it requires
Purpose The decision the profile serves: underwriting, renewal, procurement, supervisory review, contract remedy, or an x- extension
Acceptance Evaluation The deterministic comparison of a record or series against a profile version
Acceptance Result A registered record stating that a record meets the profile or does not, with every failing clause listed by field, value and requirement
Profile Registry The maintainer’s registered list of recognized profiles, each current, superseded or withdrawn

What a profile states

The technology profiles it covers; the required Mine Plan composition and whether 078 runs are required; accepted Environment Classes and modes; required Regulatory Regime; minimum Conformance Level, which must be registered; maximum record age; series requirements; optional metric thresholds, with the Comparability Class they apply within and how Blind and Void shares are treated; what a Claim Finding does (reject, flag or ignore); maximum Blind and Void shares; accepted Disclosure Levels; recognized Registries; whether Self-Provided Engagements are accepted and with what extra separation; accepted funding tiers; whether an Authorship Disclosure and a named human reviewer are required, never a threshold on the AI share; drift rules; accepted extensions; and whether it applies retroactively.

What a profile may not do

Evaluation order

Receipt and Record ID first; then Conformance Level, undeclared drift, Comparability Class membership, mode and Self-Provided rule, funding tier, age and series, absence limits, Claim Findings rule, disclosure, extensions, and thresholds last. The order exists so a threshold is never reported as the reason a record failed when the record was not comparable in the first place. The Result is registered and returned to the Holder, who may attach it to the record’s envelope as an endorsement. It is never written into the record itself.
